I am looking for recommendations for afternoon tea in Singapore. I would like to book it as a treat for my sister and brother in law. Raffles was obviously the first place that sprang to mind but the reviews aren’t particularly complimentary. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Thanks
My wife and I did afternoon tea at Atlas last month, and cannot recommend it highly enough. The service was impeccable, the food and beverages delicious and the building is something to behold… We would certainly return.
It isn’t cheap and you’ll need to book in advance.
The Fullerton Courtyard is getting food reviews (not been myself yet) & I believe
has unlimited tea/coffee & savouries.I too can wholeheartedly recommend Atlas. I am not an afternoon tea kinda guy (we had a steak and malbec) but can confim it was well patronised and the afternoon tea looked the real deal. Certainly a mighty pretty place, not cheap as @Supergers49 said but well worth the visit whilst in Singapore.
I echo their comment that you need to book..
+ 1 on Atlas, lovely venue! I also used to like the Mandarin Oriental but depends on when they are going as that is currently closed for renovations
@Michael C – Fullerton is no longer unlimited ! And it’s a little tired inside IMO, think there are better optionsThe one at the lobby lounge at the Intercontinental is nice too (though I haven’t been there since pre-COVID but I doubt much has changed)
That is great – thanks. I have been to Singapore but haven’t heard of Atlas so will do some research and hopefully book them in.

Thanks, @SamG – also not been for several years, sadly, but will be back in July!
MO was always one of my favourite Sunday brunches, but I think I was overly influenced by the caipirinha cart in the entrance! The Goodwood ParkHotel by Orchard, has a fabulous afternoon tea.. v elegant, facing the pool… full of locals using the gov vouchers. Got to book tho.
