We’ve just booked a three night stay in Berlin in the Level rooms (club rooms for those that don’t stay at Melia) for a tad over £400. Booked via the app for the 5% and 20% off and then hopefully the birthday upgrade (not holding by breath).

For what time of year? You won’t be far from the Gendarmenmarkt where one of the markets sets up for Christmas

From my time living in the city, the Gendarmenmarkt is (in my opinion) the best Christmas market in Berlin! Although worth noting that due to construction works the market is being held in the Bebelplatz, which is just around the corner, from 2022 to 2024. Both settings are very beautiful and I would say that Bebelplatz is actually more spacious.

Flight out 12 Nov for four days so too early. Not really interested in the Christmas markets (we have done those to death) but looking forward to the trip. I haven’t been since my early teens and OH hasn’t been at all and loves all the history.
