Hello everyone,
I will be arriving at Dusseldorf Airport tomorrow with British Airways Business class. Unfortunately, I made a mistake in my car rental booking and entered 2 PM as the pickup time instead of a few hours earlier. I contacted the car rental branch, and they informed me that they can only provide the car in the morning and may not be able to accommodate an earlier pickup.
Is there anyone who knows if there is an arrival lounge at the airport where I could spend a few hours, even if there is an extra cost? Thank you for your help!
You could check the airports website to see if there are any commercial lounges.
Hello everyone,

If they can provide it in the morning you should be ok? Or have I misread what you mean? Or did you mean afternoon?
Are you able to cancel the booking and rebook?
BA don’t have an arrivals lounge at Dusseldorf.

Sorry didn’t explain properly, They explained to me than usually they might be able to deliver it to the branch the evening before so than generally it is ready early morning, but in my case they will be only be delivering it somewhere in the morning so he cannot commit it will be ready early , And no, I cannot just cancel and rebook as i booked this 6 months ago and the new price would be significinalty higher
Will you have checked luggage?
If not then I think it depends on which pier you land at. I’m not certain but I think BA uses both B and C, usually C. If you land at B then you get dumped into the departures area after passports, so JDB won’t like it but you could book a refundable flight from B and use the lounge until the car is ready… (if you don’t mind going through security again then it doesn’t matter where you land). However the lounge is nothing special, why not just sit at one of the landside cafes/bakeries especially as you said you are willing to pay anyway.
Or take the train to the city and wander around for a bit, you can get there in ~20 minutes.
