In my experience duty of care is applicable and regardless of what they say just claim for the replacement transport cost (they don’t ask for proof of a missed advanced train ticket for example)
Thanks. Will report back so there is a record of what they do/don’t.
Any additional comments on what can be claimed as duty of care when you return to your home country will be appreciated 👍
