For me, the travel insurance is useless, as the sports coverage doesn’t apply where participating in the sport is the main reason for travel.
So you’re covered for skiing…unless you go on a skiing holiday. You’re covered for hiking…unless you go on a hikimg holiday. You’re covered for cycling…unless you go on a cycling holiday. And you’re covered for sailing…unless you go on a sailing holiday.
That policy exclusion affects most of my trips. It also makes me suspect that similarly absurd restrictions apply across the policy.
Be very careful.
