Yes, Amex confirm this on their website (Benefits section within Account management):

“you and all Platinum Supplementary Cardmembers can each bring one guest at no cost into any American Express lounge or Priority Pass lounge when you travel*. Platinum Cardmembers may also bring up to two complimentary guests into The Centurion Lounge.

*Eurostar Business Premier lounges access to Cardmembers only – no guests permitted.”
However, the other day, we found LHR T5 Plaza Premium lounge was only accepting pre-booked immediately on arrival; the waiting list was roughly 1 hour, by which point we were due to be in the air.
