I guess if I go back to re-book the car (normally using the US version of Europcar/Hertz website) but then add the CDW and PAI to the quote, and pay upfront online, that should work….? Annoying having to do this when Amex should cover everything, but seems I Have no choice….

Rate to add CDW and PAI online is $275USD for a week. I imagine I could get stung for much more adding it at the branch!
