I’ve stayed 4 times with young kids (as spire and diamond not ambassador). Upgrades every time has been to better views/higher floor junior suites but the same room. So I think chances of a material upgrade are low unless you book a high floor city view junior suite.

More generally:

1. Sofa beds weren’t great (spent 2 nights on it whilst the kids slept in the bed.
2. Pool is nice but was cold on our most recent stay earlier this year.
3. If you’re driving be careful with the car park as they ticket anyone who parks outside the marked spaces – reason I mention is if there is a concert on the car park becomes absolute carnage.
4. Similarly, If there’s a concert on make sure you book for dinner if you want to eat in the hotel.
