With the new RFS pricing on long haul, a business class seat to Barbados and other destinations in that zone has a “headline” price of 180k avios plus £450, but there are a number of combinations and you can select the one which suits you best. Your 100k plus £225 sounds like one-way, peak. (BGI is one of the more difficult routes to get seats on, flexibility is key to success with avios bookings). So with the 241 that option would be 180k avios (off peak) plus £900 for the two of you.
