@BajiNahid – I seem to recall now us warning you that this wasn’t a great idea on separate bookings! You’ll probably struggle to get anything out of BA retrospectively as they will say that all they had to do was to get you from a London airport to EDI in terms of re-routing and UK261. Have you spoken to ground staff and asked about them paying for a taxi to LCY, they seem to be have been quite amenable about this kind of thing recently when engaged with directly at LHR?

@northernlass
, I was at the queue in zone F ready to be rebooked for my Edinburgh flight but was told there is a flight from city. I told them that atm the trains are down so i cant get to city to please try to book me from heathrow. A queue agent called Sandy, standing at zone F, comes over and tells the helpful agent at the desk, to not help me and leave me alone to sort it out myself. I was absolutely gobsmacked at her behavior.

She started becoming confrontational with me and told me to leave the area as there are other passengers needing rebooking, i told her that i need to be rebooked aswell as i dont have a flight available and the system has automatically put me onto city, and how am i supposed to get there.

She told the desk agent to get up and move desks as i would not move and smirk at me whilst i was telling her off.

@Baji I am shocked to hear this.

What did you do to kick that agent off? Or, was there something about you that could have unfairly provoked her?

If that had happened to me, and I’d just come off a flight from Los Angeles, I could have had a meltdown with unpredictable results.

Such a shame one never has the presence of mind in these situations to get one’s phone out and start recording…

What would other people recommend, if picked on in this way?
