What they said^

We flew overnighters with Kermit when he was 20 and 21 months. We took the centre rear facing bassinet seats. We didn’t even try to put Kermit in the bassinet then and he wasn’t a big kid. We did actually manage to squeeze him in a bassinet at 17 months but it was tight.

You won’t be allowed to put your kid on the floor. They don’t even like kids playing on the floor as any turbulence and they could hit their head on random metal stuff on the seat. At least that was what we were told when we were asked not to let our kid play on the floor.

In our case Kermit slept very happily on my flat bed and I dozed somewhat awkwardly on my side vaguely spooning him. I am a slender fellow though! I don’t remember not finding it manageable. I do remember Mrs Froggee and the crew thinking that I was heroic. Kermit was happy as Larry with a warm bod next to him. I imagine the other passengers breathed a sigh of relief on disembarking that the infant didn’t scream at all.
