one thing to consider is that its better to not rush applications fearing you are going to miss out…this enhanced bonus on the amex plat has happened before and id be pretty confident it will happen again…my partner applied for the bapp in jan (70k) and we are both eligible for the amex plat atm, but only I will apply now and hope it returns in the future for her as I mentioned. if you have a partner and can space out the applications across the different amex cards/barclaycards/hsbc etc there is enough to choose from to not need to rush it. just my opinion of course 🙂

Yeah, that’s true. I think I said it here to someone or on another discussion (can’t remember anymore 😀 ) but P2 will be doing the Barclays 50K now, so she’ll not be able to do a Plat application as her timeframe is even tighter. So I’ll probs bite the bullet and try – not too much to lose, just will not try anything until 2024 if anything does go sideways!
