This winter would actually have been the year to run it, flights were very full and fares highest I’ve ever seen in all classes. But it was already going to be seasonal pre COVID as it’s a tough one for BA to make money on due to the high competition / lack of lots of high yielding business traffic.
But now with the reduced long haul fleet I doubt we’ll see it back for a while, same as Kuala Lumpur. Aircraft can get to the USA and back nearly twice in the same time frame and they’ve got Qatar to handle the bulk of demand going East
Can add Calgary to that list.
