Back on topic: I have had a further response from Curve, “blah … we want you to feel empowered and in control of your finances … blah”. However, they still understand where I am coming from and would like to offer me a refund of 3 months’ membership so I can see if I would like to give them another chance. Not too shabby, I suppose!
Empowered they say? Whilst applying tighter restrictions/a levy on your spends and charging you more for the pleasure?
Perhaps that word doesn’t mean what I think it does.
