A lovely hotel, we didn’t splash out, and spend £5k on food and drink in our 10 days there.
There are not many great AI hotels in the Maldives any more for £500 per night. I got a ‘good’ deal on Dusit Thani that was ‘only’ £900 per night including seaplane. From around a year of searching and waiting for good prices, I think the Maldives is getting too pricey.
Luxury Escapes has sone deals. £3059 for 5 nights 2 pax in BV at Le Meridien in December (AI + seaplane) , then again in May-December. £500-600 extra for Jan-Mar and upgrade to sunrise overwater an extra £500 or so.
