Thanks both for the responses.
@Carlos – it was paid off by a BA Amex as that was the only thing I had in September and to hit a SUB with Jet2, worked out great.
I guess if I just print out the insurance cert to have at hand I’ll be just grand. Major issues seem to be related to age and medical conditions which do not apply to us luckily so upon reading the details and summary, the gadget cover of £500 is indeed a bit lower than I’d like but I can live with that.
I was just wondering how people approach this – if you just use Plat or get additional ones. Perhaps only when you have exceptional circumstances or unique criteria that’s not supplied by AMEX?
