Is there much in here about NON eSIMs and/or travel 4G/5G routers?
We are away next month- we have 3 mobiles, 3 Kindle Fires and a laptop between us. Whilst we dont want the kids (or us) on devices for our whole trip, it’s inevitable that they’ll need something to pass some time. Hotel WIFI will work for some of our trip, but we also have a week on the road in an RV and there is also “out and about” where the adults might need access to Maps, Ticket Sites, OLCI and HfP!

Our mobiles aren’t eSIM compatible.

I’ve seen some pretty good SIM deals available to pick up when we get there- but I’m torn between getting 2 of these for the adult phones (turn on hotspot when the kids need it) or getting a travel hotspot and linking us all up to that- side benefit being I could install our VPN on it and also hook it up more easily to hotel WIFI where applicable. The only thing putting me off this is the portability- probably not huge, but I guess I’d need to lug it around to access maps on the go?

Any experience/advice?
