@yorkshireRich thanks for the suggestions. Had a quick look at Hue but prices for Airbnb seem to be quite a bit higher than Nha Trang.
Perhaps there’s a good reason why Hue is more expensive than Nha Trang… I don’t know Nha Trang, but if you Google it, there’s more than enough to put anyone off; it sounds as bad as Phu Quoc for similar but even more reasons, including dead coral and a few of the results say these are actually the two places to avoid in Vietnam. That @YorkshireRich always sounds like a very sensible chap.
