You can do a couple of dummy bookings which will show you the different cash amounts, also SeatSpy shows them, but one way which might skew it a bit.
US taxes are outrageous, but we were charged $173 each to use the Virgin credit card voucher to upgrade 2 of us from PE to UC recently, from NAS to LHR, which felt like great value.
