Anyone manage to bag tickets in the ballot? 🙂
Any tips for picking up returned tickets?
I have been unsuccessful in the ballot the last few years and have always picked up returns, often going on a date I actually want.
My ‘trick’ is to save the page and check daily (potentially multiple times a day). Also set up an alert on X; there are a few people that tweet when ballot tickets are released – just search for ‘Wimbledon returns’ and you’ll find the people.

@jumpersforgoal which page you save for checking the returned tickets?
There will be a link you get in the email which outlines you’ve been unsuccessful in the ballot but you can check for returns. I just tried my link for previous years and it says it’s not valid so it’s a unique one every year. You need to be logged on to your MyWimbledon account too as they need to verify that you were unsuccessful in the ballot.
Just ask Rob – he gives frequent posters access to his debenture seats.
Only joking.
If you’re super keen, pay £20 to join the LTA. You should just be in time based upon when they sold returns last year. You get priority for the big release.
Lucky this year, after missing out last year and the year before. OH is a member of an LTA affiliated tennis club, so some priority.

Thanks. I have never been successful in Ballot and never received any mail stating the same. I just now logged into mywimbledon account to double check and i did register for 2025 ballot but no luck this year again!

Good idea! I will try my luck this way and see what happens.
That’s the priority window open now if you did join the LTA.
No heads up this year.

Yep was on the ball and managed to nab one! Something to look forward too!
Hi folks… does anyone have any further detail on how this works?
American Express Last-Minute Tickets
American Express® Cardmembers get access to purchase ‘last minute’ Centre Court tickets for Wimbledon 2025. Tickets will be released across 3 sales windows between 28 June – 10 July 2025. Supplies will be limited. Ticket type is subject to availability. Tickets must be purchased with a valid American Express® Card.
(from here – https://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/about_wimbledon/american_express_terms_and_conditions.html )
Looks like this is the link… (I missed the boat, but incase people want it for other ticket releases)
If unsuccessful in the ballot, the link you need to click for the returns is in the “100 days to go email” you should’ve received around 22nd March. I’ve learnt from past experience to keep the emails they send (except the merchandise ones) and if you click the link and keep trying you can usually get tickets in the few days beforehand or during the tournament. (Having said this, I’m unsuccessful this year so far!).
If you do get to go, enjoy the day and make sure you take advantage of any Amex and Barclays Premier perks you’re eligible for 🙂
Re. the Amex Cardmember Lounge – does anyone know whether they scan your card like at an airport Centurion Lounge, or just look at it like the Eurostar lounge?
Just found on Reddit that they scan. How unhelpful 😉

They didn’t scan in 2019 however I guess it makes good business sense to do so.

They not only scan, but want you to have registered your card with the Wimbledon app to create a Amex/Wimbledon QR code. This is separate to the myWimbledon QR code. It’s about halfway down the homepage on the app, and you need this for most of the Amex perks. When we were accessing the lounge on Sunday they had a card reader at the entrance but they said it was not reliable and after trying it they asked for the QR code instead. For the branded tennis balls they wanted the QR code, and for the Amex charms, it was one per card (the app says one per person, but it was per card) so they actually entered each card number into their system in their ipads
