I agree it’s more valuable to B6 than BA but likewise the connection at LHR requires a change of terminals as B6 flies from T2 doesn’t it?
I think in reality passengers are more likely to be price conscious and wanting to be able to fly from one of the lesser US cities via BOS or JFK to somewhere in Europe on one ticket in economy. Especially as B6 doesn’t offer lounge access so not great if you have a business class ticket going to the US.
Presumably that would mean interlining of luggage from the US to the ultimate European destination. Don’t think that would happen in the other direction.
