Yes this is a claim to QR as the operating carrier.

Assuming this was LHR-DOH-BKK it would be 4 hours delay before getting 50% compensation and 5 hours for full – assuming there isn’t an exceptional circumstance.

You have to look at the total trip not the separate parts.
