Sometimes you will be pre-assigned to an upgraded rooms 24-48 hours before. If I see an upgrade to a room I like in the app beforehand, I’ll use the mobile check-in to confirm it as it can sometimes disappear as other members start arriving and checking in throughout the day and they get upgraded.
