It’ll be humid and wet at times of the day but survivable if you take things easy! Note that it’ll be very busy with Aussies then.
Sanur has some nice resort properties whilst being quite central to do some trips out (which one must do in Bali it’s dirt cheap to hire a driver and a guide for a day or two). Otherwise Seminyak is good with lots of great food options. Avoid Nusa Dua as it’s far to get anywhere else and you could really be anywhere. Kuta is where the Aussies go to party so also to be avoided.
You could consider either the Gilis, Lombok or somewhere like Nusa Lembongan but need to consider the travel time if you’ve got a week + the sea conditions may not be ideal (you can fly to Lombok though)
If you haven’t booked yet personally I’d consider going to Phuket instead, perfect weather then and although busy that time of year it’s manageable.
