Yeah they might come up with some excuse about exceptional circs meaning they were allowed to cancel at less than 14 days ahead without having to pay compensation – but claim anyway – Why do their work for them? Just claim.

Meanwhile look up expertflyer which for a short time should show the officially submitted cancellation reason and any other source you can find. But claim all promptly meanwhile. If they deny then their reason is not always true btw so make your own judgment only if they do but just in case prepare now.
