Was upgraded at gate to business on 2 sectors as well!

What’s also been very useful is the new status has twice saved me from having my carry-on taken and put in the cargo hold at the departure gate – once because they were randomly selecting cabin bags from economy passengers, and once because they were walking around with a set of scales to weigh carry-ons and taking those that weighed over 8kg, never seen that before at the gates. A wave of the card and they moved on.
