Scott, I just logged in to Halifax Clarity and the rate used by them for a hotel bill was at 1,368 ARS/£ conmpared to 1,283 ARS/£ official, so around 6.5% better today – a nice surprise as I assumed they were using the official , not ‘tourist’ rate. The cash rate I got , as I explained, is 16.5% better than official, so still 10% better off paying with cash.
