I just completed a weekend stay at Radisson Blu Milano as part of my ITA status run to retain Sky Team Elite+.
The booking rate was around €100 but it would have been around €90 if I had done prepaid – these are very competitive rates for a hotel like this in Milan, especially with AC Milan playing at the nearby San Siro on the Saturday I stayed (there were a lot of football fans around the hotel). Even the Moxy at LIN cost the same and it’s much more basic.

I got a suite upgrade on arrival (booked Standard room at cheapest rate). When I entered the room it looked like a fairly ordinary Junior Suite but the bathroom was spectacular in comparison. It had a really large bath and a cavernous shower space that was more like what you’d see in the Pool/Sauna area.

Breakfast service was fine although the range of foods on offer was not exceptional. However, the staff were very helpful and the made to order omelette was much better than I generally get in hotels of this standard. There’s a coffee machine serving the usual gunk but you can ask the stuff and they will make one for you – I got a latte macchiato with extra shot of espresso that was perfect.

They forgot the welcome gift but I forgot to mention it, but all in all I was v. happy with the stay and would definitely go back as it’s excellent value with VIP status.

BTW, there’s a nearby restaurant (just a few minutes walk) called L’Immagine Bistro which is absolutely incredible, even by Italian standards. I honestly think I would go back to the Radisson just to hit this restaurant again. Superb food and great staff. It’s a great find considering the location, and you can run into many mediocre restaurants in the more central parts of Milan if you’re not careful in checking reviews.

Thanks for sharing ! Sounds like a great experience. One to add to the list!
