@Richie, it’s a heck of a schlep to Battersea from Green Park.

@Ducky is heading to a pricey part of town if a romance on a budget is a requirement. Personally, I’d head the other way and look for something in Soho, where prices can be more reasonable than Mayfair or St James’s. That would open up the possibility of a post-event nightcap in a great choice of watering holes.

It’s not a Radisson and it might be out of budget, but Hazlitt’s on Frith Street might tick the romantic box. It’s a world away from the corporate sterility of hotels aimed primarily at business travellers.
