Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Executive Club 2 4 1 BA Premium Plus voucher – 4 seats in business availability

  • 11 posts

Hope you can help a newbie out please.
I have 2 BA Premium plus vouchers that i plan to use next year. Looking for 2AD and 2CH to travel business class to Tokyo. We are based in London but happy to reposition.
I am finding that trying to get 4 business class flights an issue. Some dates BA only release 2.
Are there any other routes I can use these vouchers?
I understand Iberia flights and Air Lingus are included but i think they also only release 2 per flight.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Huge amounts of info re booking reward seats to Japan on this forum, just have a search. Also, lots of info on the main hfp pages abour 241’s, basics re. number of guaranteed reward seats released for each flight etc. I’d suggest you have a look around

Well after 3 weeks of peace and quiet following the cherry blossom seat season we are back to Japan.
BA do release 4 seats on each flight but you are discovering they have a tendency to go quickly.
This probably became the master thread https://www.headforpoints.com/forums/topic/tokyo-reward-flights/ but if you go back 3-4 weeks in this forum you will find others.

You’ve picked a very ambitious target for a newbie but it can be done by adopting the strategies on here. You’ll also find very helpful Rob’s “avios university” series of articles and the “adding the return to the 241” thread. This is very long and quite general but the principles apply to you and there are numerous posts about Tokyo in it.

According to SeatSpy (which you might want to consider subscribing to for a general guide to availability), there are 4 x CW departing May 26th and 27th next year. If you are flexible with travel dates, I would suggest snapping up either of these before someone else does!

Thank you all for your suggestions! I will be doing some exciting research this weekend 🙂
