2024 Avios peak dates – known?

If you are looking for the end of March you can see a few days ahead of the 355 days by searching for a reward seat for the most recently released date then clicking on ‘find availability with BA on other dates’ You can tell from the bottom line ( thick or thin) of the greyed out squares which are peak/off peak dates.

Sometimes BA doesn’t realise that schools have different holidays and you can get a bargain award booking. Also Tuesdays and Wednesdays tend to be off-peak regardless which can be useful if you have some flexibility with your travel dates. I got F out to BOS and IAD last year for off-peak avios with crafty Wednesday departures!

I know Good Friday is peak but the Thursday before (March 28) is off-peak which is handy for evening flights. As a school holiday booker, it’s a rare bonus for me to nab an off-peak flight.

The BA booking page shows peak and off-peak for the dates where flights have been released, which is up to the end of May at the moment, so SeatSpy just reflects that. It is getting ridiculous this year though! I wonder if they’ve decided to just not bother?

The calendar is usually cobbled together by enthusiasts, not BA.
It has usually appeared around Easter for the following year.
For some reason, no-one (e.g. Rob) has done so this year despite previous requests.
