Can anyone tell me if I use my voucher and pay the old £35 pp and I need to cancel will the &35 pp be used as credit for the charge £35 pp to re credit my Avios?
Yes, it will. They won’t charge you any more to refund the Avios. There have been some reports of some people being charged a lower fee, and getting money back as a result, and it seems they never charge more than you’ve already paid in cash even if you go for £1 short haul option.
The schedule of fees though does clearly set out a £35pp charge, so if you get any money back it’s a bonus.
Do BA, in practice, charge for doing a date change online, where no other fees or Avios are required?
I have the change screens available on a current booking but not sure how far I can click before it finalises. (I don’t want to change this one!)
