25k sign up bonus – when does it post

Hi, I have now spent well over the required £3k to get the Barlcaycard Avios sign up bonus, does this get awarded at the next statement date a la Amex or do I need to wait until the end of the 3 month period? Thanks

Sounds like it transferred on the sixth of April for those who hit the spend target inside March.

Avios is meant to transfer on the second working day of each month. But it was the sixth in reality.
Let’s see what happens in May.

Mine showed as soon as the relevant payment cleared. I got an email saying the 25k avios had been transferred to BAEC, however they haven’t and in the Barclays app it says they will transfer on the 2nd working day of next month.

I’ve also just emailed them to say the upgrade voucher is of little use to me as doesn’t seem to be able to be used for connecting flights …
