Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Executive Club £35 booking change fee, after I just paid it already.

    Hey guys,

Recently moved a reward flight from Tokyo to London forward one day to a 9am flight. I specifically asked the BA lady if it was likely that any extra reward availability would open up on the 1PM flight that same day, she said not a chance – so I went ahead and paid the £70 (for 2) fee. 1 week later, a whole ton of availability has now opened up on the flight I actually needed, and they’re still wanting to charge me again, any way around this?

    Thanks!

No, you made a change and they charged you. You want to make another change so they are within their rights to charge you again. You might be very lucky and find an agent who will waive it but I wouldn’t count on it.

I booked a return reward flight from LON-HND for 2 adults using the companion voucher. Outbound in Economy and Inbound in Business.

Am i correct in saying that the cost to change the return leg to a different date and to Premium rather than Business (not available on new date) would be £85 per person? Made up of £35 for the “date change and cabin change”, £35 for the partial “avios redeposit”, £15 for the service centre fee. Or would I only pay on of those £35 fees? I’m guessing I need to do it through the Service Centre as i would need them to confirm availability of my preferred inbound date using a companion voucher.

    I’m going by this page.

Only £35 in my view if you do it all at once and explain it can’t be done online.

Thank you. And that is per person right?
