New IHG promo: 3,000 points for every 2 nights Sep 19 – Dec 31

Pop up which appeared while making a booking directs to https://www.ihg.com/content/us/en/deals/member-offers/2k24?offerCode=67780

Despite the URL suggesting 2K the details say 3K for every two nights. Don’t know if it’s targeted and therefore restricted or not.

Thanks it says every two nights but T&C’s suggest it’s every 2 night stay. Which while subtly different wording are very different things.

I do mostly 1 night stays so shame for this and the Marriott one this quarter.

I see what you mean, but I think ‘two qualifying room night stays’ is just bad wording as it also refers to a Qualifying Stay being a minimum of one night (as if it could be less!).

Just got the email.

I read it as for every two nights you stay not that the stay has to be 2 night.

I.e. if you have individual one night bookings you’ll get the points after you’ve stayed the next one.

That’s how precious promos have worked.

Email just came in, it’s clearly every 2 nights just like the previous ones were every 4 nights or 8 nights. No requirement to stay 2 nights at a single property.

Reward bookings get credited for elite tier nights stayed, but haven’t counted for any recent xK for y nights bonus promotions.
