Hello,
I will soon cancel an Avios MAD-EZE on the 26th October with EZE-MAD-LHR returning late on the 2nd Nov (so arriving to LHR on the 3rd).
All in Business with Iberia (including a330/350 on the MAD-LHR leg).
I have no rush to cancel so if somebody is interested in scooping these please let me know and I will try to coordinate in case the seats go back into inventory.
Very decent of you to let us know. If I didn’t otherwise have plans I’d snap those tickets up as I’m planning an EZE and GIG trip. Generally how difficult is to get reward seats in Business on IB to either of these destinations? Is it anything like BA to CPT or SYD requiring a T-355 booking or is availability periodically released?
@Londonsteve Not too difficult. Just searched a block of two weeks in late August 2025 and a lot of availability as its 3x flights per day in J, airport code is funnily BUE.
IB app is easy for a search.
GIG is one a day but found availability quite easily for J.
Note both those destinations are on peak dates, if you do off peak itll be even cheaper and 241 is usuable. Good luck.
@zapato1060, many thanks! The IB app sounds like the tip to search because the website is slow and clunky. It lets you search by month but it shows all dates with Economy availability and you need to check each day to see if there’s anything in Business which of course is much harder to come by.
