Forums Hotel loyalty schemes Accor Live Limitless Accor multi-room booking – how to maximise points?

    Good Afternoon,

I need to book 5 rooms at an Accor property. I understand I can only earn redeemable points on 2 of those rooms if I book directly. With a multi-room booking their does not appear to be any discernible difference between the member rates bookable directly on the Accor website or via booking.com. I intend to book 2-rooms directly, but was wondering if anyone else had any ideas on how to maximise the value of the other 3 rooms (beyond booking.com via a £/back website)?

Unfortunately all the other hotels in the near vicinity are considerably more expensive, therefore spreading the bookings across chains doesn’t appear to be a suitable option.

    TIA for the ideas.

In my experience you get more £/back if you go to Accor via the £/back site, rather than Booking.com.

That does appear to be the case. Thanks

Just wondering if this would work – would separate bookings do it (even booking them on separate days)?

1 x 2 rooms on one booking reference
1 x 2 rooms on another booking reference
    And then 1 separate?

Or would the system class them as duplicate and cancel some?

Maybe @Rob would have a better idea here 🙂

As it happens I have booked 1×1 room, 1×2 rooms, and 1×2 rooms… so have three different booking references. I will report back what I get (or do not get) back in points.

I have (a couple of times a year) booked more than 2 rooms with Accor and normally do one booking per room. You do not get the Accor points for the extra rooms.

    Interesting.
My understanding is that say family room where you get one room half price you get the points on the booking value,

I have booked 1 room and 1 room with a family halfprice additional room, I am expecting to get points for all three rooms for the booking, is that not going to be the case? I happen to have gold access if that makes an iota of difference.
Since I have free refunds, I would have to question the value of the booking if wasn’t the case I would get the points for all the rooms booked.

Are you a meeting planner? Accor has a program.

For exanple there’s double points in March (was triple in January and February), but sadly on this particular offer (just checked for you) they wanted a minimum of 8 rooms, this is not always the case though.

In my case no, just a simple family trip for 3 nights in Krakow.
