-
Hi there,
On December 24th, I noticed that my 91800 Avios points had been transferred to an Iberian Plus account that was not mine. I immediately contacted BA. They I believe have blocked my account for security reasons and they said they would respond to me in 7-10 days with instructions of what to do next. I spoke to someone via live chat. It has been longer than that now. I keep calling BA but cannot get through as they keep hanging up on me citing that the lines are too busy. That on top of the fact that I cannot access my account and was hoping to use the points to book flights is very concerning. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? (I do hope not) If so, How do I get in contact with Executive Club? Is there a easier way that the phone number? I cannot even find the LIVE Chat as I am locked out of my account…PLEASE HELP!@LJFlyer – you’ve posted in the Virgin Flying Club section of the board, so the BA experts probably haven’t seen this.
I would post again in this section: https://www.headforpoints.com/forums/forum/airlines/head-for-points-forum/
(But unless you have a very shiny card, the phone number is usually the only option – try as soon as the lines open.)
Unfortunately you’re not alone and there are a few threads on the subject if your trawl through the BAEC section, e.g.

Anyone can any posts / thread. No real reason to duplicate this thread.
But constantly phoning won’t help as the phone agents don’t have access to the account either and can’t give any information out as to what is happening because they don’t have any.
OP needs to wait for the fraud department to complete their work.
Both mine and wife account were hacked. BA are efficient in restoring the account with the Avios restored to its original balance. For me it took 5 days and for my wife’s between 7 and 10 days(I havent read the email properly as they were asking for ID and address proof) and replied late to the email .
Normally they should have called you by now and later it will be all in Emails for restoring the account.I have called BA Exec Club number only once as the fraud team left a voice message to call back.
The same thing happened to me on Christmas Eve. I raised it with BAEC the same day and all points were refunded and account unlocked yesterday.

Except that nobody had answered the OP’s post for 10 hours…
