Hi, I recently used 2 x 241 (premium AMEX) to book 4 outbound CW flights for next summer, the return is not yet available. As I used premium 241s I presumably got to see and book additional J inventory in I fare class. When I call to add the return, will the agent know or see this, and also see additional seats ?
I’m assuming I can’t, as I’ve used the vouchers and won’t be able to search for all of the available seats that may or may not be bookable.
Anyone got experience of this ? Thanks
If you are adding the inbound flight T-355, additional inventory is not really relevant as the seats are rarely released then. It’s fastest fingers for those 4 guaranteed seats at T-355.
You won’t be able to see the additional inventory, but the agent should be able to.
Gary, thank you for confirming. I can confirm I’m an eejit, who still thought it was TWO CW seats released at T-355. So, regardless of I inventory, there will always be 4 seats, that I may or may not be successful in blagging ?
Luckily for me I am in Scotland, so with Scottish school holidays being earlier I don’t have to compete with my English counterparts for seats. The downside is a I need to wait an extra day to allow for my domestic connection, as my trip is to/from USA, and I’ll arrive on London the day after I left the states. If that makes sense….
I do have a choice of 5 flights from three airports to return from though.
