Adding Flying Club number to LATAM reservation

I’ve a couple of LATAM upcoming bookings – I try to add my VS Flying Club number and I get ‘we couldn’t add your frequent flyer number’ error in the LATAM app/website.

Anyone tips to resolve?

Also, in case I can’t solve this – I’m keen to download my Virgin Silver/SkyTeam Elite status – I can’t seem to find how to do this?

You can only earn Virgin points on codeshare flights in Brazil. LATAM is also not part of Skyteam, so I don’t think you can get elite benefits other than on those codeshare flights.

You can earn Avios on certain LATAM flights.

I’ve encountered the same situation as OP. Did you manage to resolve the issue in the end?

Also is it correct that I could earn Virgin points and tier points on all LATAM flights? I don’t see any restriction on Virgin website regarding the flights must be codeshare ones in Brazil.
