    For the past 7 weeks I’ve been trying to change my email address in my Aer Club account. Unable to change online I contacted Aer Club who advised I had to email the request. Case number assigned but no resolution. I’ve chased by email and phone, tried 3 different devices to try and change on line but continue to get a response that currently I can’t change my email and to try later. No response to Web chat with Aer Lingus nor to a twitter message to Aer Lingus. Have just emailed the CEO at Aer Lingus to see if she can get it changed? In the meantime I’ve moved my Avios to BA as I don’t want access issues once my old email closes.

    Find a copy of their privacy policy and contact them (the data privacy officer or other details will be noted within the policy). Request to exercise your GDPR right to rectification – your email address is considered personal data.

    Open a separate account with your new email. Contact them to close the old account. Link BAEC to the new account.
