We booked a 241 with Aer Lingus about 3 weeks ago. We’ve got a BA booking reference, but we notice it still hasn’t been ticketed yet and doesn’t have an Aer Lingus booking ref to allow us to reserve seats. Is it normal for it to take this long for it to be ticketed? Any help would be appreciated, as always.
That sounds strange – I had a lot of trouble with BA ticketing a flight on Aer Lingus, bu tin fairness it was short notice on a Sunday night after a cancellation. Try using the BA reference on the “Manage My Booking” section on some other OneWorld airline sites like Finnair, or RJ. That might give you the Aer Lingus reference. If not, ring BA
