Hey all, any advice on the above plz for 2.

Similar to dominican would be lovely, am thinking for jamiaca but not sure if that time is good to go, not really looking for excursions or a lot of activities either to be honest

Budget wise maybe max £3k all in if that is possible

    Thanks

There’s never really a bad time for the Caribbean. Some periods have more rain than others, but it soon burns away.

The Iberostar in Agadir is worth considering if you want something closer to home without the time zone changes. Malta or Cyprus in October are pretty safe bets, by November can be not quite so warm.

BA has decent KIN redemption availability in WTP in October/November but very patchy in CW. The Couples resorts in Jamaica are very good; much better than Sandals, especially for food. A quick search says it might be as little as $325 per room per night which I think is exceptional value.

I think you’d struggle to get the Maldives on your budget – how long are you looking at going for? Prices have gone insane over the past few years.

At that time of year I wouldn’t risk the weather in the Caribbean. For guaranteed warm and dry weather I’d look at Canaries if you’ve only got a week – 4 hour flight and no jet leg are a big bonus. There are some very high-end resorts these days and Lanzarote especially has great beaches and snorkelling.

Have look on Luxury Escapes. They have sales on Maldives resorts and usual range is £1.5k – 3k for half board (you can pay extra for AI). If you have Amex with an offer and as a new customer you can get £100 or so off.

RC Doha Club (unless you have kids as they are not allowed into the club lounge) or RC Dubai Club. Food generally is very good and alcohol served (in club lounge) from 12 noon
