Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club American vs BA Exec business reward availability

  • 3 posts

Hello, I’m hoping someone can help unravel something that’s been challenging me for a few days now!

I’m looking to book business on American from Miami International to Montego Bay next January and can see availability in both economy and business on the AA website, but when searching for the same flight on the BA site, I’m only getting economy availability.

I’m fairly sure the Business tickets aren’t being snapped up as I have checked at 00:00 and haven’t seen the availability, and they are also still available on the AA site (albeit at a crazy 55k points). Is this a common thing? Am I unlikely to find these seats? Any help here would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

BA can only show AA saver awards.

So unless it says “saver” on the AA website BA can’t offer them.

And for 55k I’d say what you’re seeing aren’t savers.

Ah! Makes sense. Thanks for that.

AA don’t use the term AASaver any more.

You need to look for on the AA site for non-stop flights, display the calendar month and anything you see in green as the cheapest you should be able to book via BA. You may be able to book the next level up as well.
