So I need to book two return tickets to Italy. P2 has the basic voucher but is just 3000 avios short.
Rather than pay for a transfer of avios to her is there a no cost workaround other than a household account?
For 3,000 avios you’d arguably be better of buying at £69 then paying £50 to move from one to the other.
Does P2 not have any boostable avios?
I second the above, but have you also look at different payment options when doing a dummy booking – there may be a combination of cash/avios which suits you without having to source the extra avios?
Thanks all. Transpires you can choose different points/cash payment options with the BA Basic voucher, went for the £40 option, lowest cost, least faff.
I wonder if the Premium voucher or the BC voucher allows you to do the same?
