Hello all,
First post…. here goes…
So I am the owner of a UK Construction business, I am looking to maximise my CC reward points for business spend.
I have found Billhop, has anyone got good experience with using Billhop and Amex Biz card to pay for as much as possible, or put differently for all places that wont let you pay for bills with Amex?
The fees are high at 3% but would be off set against Corp. Tax? Thus potentially earling me plenty of point in Amex to convert to Avios of other Airmiles.
Any help or guidance appreciated
Thanks
L
I would look at bluechain, it’s cheaper but still 2.3%.

Just to help me get into the right ambience for this conversation, are we talking Wimpey Homes level, or Dodgy Dave the white van man?
I’m in the same sector and Amex acceptance is low, especially with larger merchants.
Have you considered Capital on Tap? You can earn 1% (cash or Avios) and it’s a visa so accepted everywhere. Even bluechain with offset corporation tax at 25% only brings the 2.3% you are paying down to 1.7%, when you could be earning 1%.
Same situation about to buy a house through Ltd Company and no way i hit the target for the new 80k signup unless i use a third party
However £360 commission in exchange for 80k avios seems like a good deal
