How does the AMEX foreign exchange rates compare to say a Mastercard (Chase) type of card. Is it about the same.
I’m obviously aware there’s a 2.99% additional AMEX fee.
Usually Amex is more or less the same on the USD/GBP exchange but inferior on all other currencies.
There have been various published posts with such analysis and my own research has confirmed the same results various times, but usually on al currency, it would rank like that :
1 – MasterCard
2 – Visa
3 – Amex
