Hi Guys.
Just cancelled my Platinum card and looking at taking a gold card out mainly for access to Priority Pass. Does anyone know how this works with a family of 4. I’ve read the T’s and C’s and see no mention of cardholder using for 4 people at once.
Also , I’m not eligible for 2 years now for the plat sign up. Does anyone know if I open the gold card and use the link going around to upgrade to platinum if you are eligible for that upgrade bonus ? Or is it same rules apply – I. E. Have to wait for 2 years ?
Thanks !
@petchy1984 – the four passes are only usable by the cardholder plus one guest per the rules. Your eligibility for upgrade and the SUB thereon doesn’t have any fixed time but determined at the point of application.

So you could use two of the passes and then pay for the two extra people ?
So this means you can claim these points as an upgrade?
I’ve used the 4 passes from my gold card for a family of 4 numerous times without issue. However, you might be better off getting a free Dragon Pass membership through Club Avolta. You then top up your visit entitlements when required (after confirming the lounge has capacity) for $28USD each.
