Amex Gold – points eligibility

Hi, i haven’t had the Amex Gold credit card (free for a year , 20K points) for just over 2 years. However in this time I have had a BA Amex Premium plus.

I am still eligible for the 20K points if a get a new Amex gold now ? I thought i was but believe i read somewhere that wasn’t now the case.

No, you’re not eligible for the Gold SUB, only on the Platinum (if you haven’t had an MR earning card in the last 2 years).
