Amex Marriott retention offers

Hi

I have had my Amex Marriott card for 10 plus years and never asked for a retention offer

The annual feee is less than that the gold and platinum cards.

Has anyone had any success getting a retention bonus for the Marriott card?

I’ve had a retention offer last October on my Green charge card…double MR points for 3 months, on a closed card that only costs £60 a year. So I think your chances are fairly high, although don’t expect as much as you’d possibly receive holding Platinum or Gold.

Refused when I asked last time. Though my spend was minimal.
